Year 3

Hello Year 3!

We really hope that you and your families are all keeping well. Thank you for being so amazing and working so hard in the first two weeks of this year. We have been equally impressed with those children who have been working in the school bubble and remotely at home. You have been showing great AYJS pride in your work and some of you have been helping around the house too. Keep it up.

Your new pack

Thank you for collecting your pack on Friday. It is a little different from the last pack as you will need to make sure you log onto the Google classroom each day as we will be posting messages and videos to help you learn new things and also many of the resources (like PowerPoints and images that you will need in your lessons). If you start by taking a look at the colourful weekly grid this will help you to see which lessons we will be covering on each day.

As you can see in the purple column have left the forth lesson of the day for you to choose. You can either complete a learning challenge or maybe you would like to pick one of the topic activities that we have put onto a separate grid for you. The choice is yours!

Let’s Meet!

We shall be starting daily Google Meets from Monday 18th January. Please check the details of the times in the classroom.

Sharing your work

It has been brilliant how many of you have been sharing your work with us. Some of you like to write on the slides that we have given you. Others have worked on the sheets and your parents have helped you to take a photograph and attach it to your slide. Either way we can see your work, which is brilliant and gives us the chance to check you understand the task and maybe suggest improvement tasks, just as we would in school. Please continue to use the Classroom for sharing your work.

Whilst we are in this 'lockdown' we hope that you and your families stay safe and look forward to seeing the work that you achieve at home.
