The School Day

The total teaching hours per week including religious education, but excluding the statutory act of collective worship, registration and breaks is 23 hours and 45 minutes.

In a normal school week, the school day is timetabled in the following way:

Children are not expected to arrive earlier than 8.40am. A bell is rung at 8.45am when children make their way into school in time to be settled into their class for registration at 8.50am.
