We are delighted to announce that Henry Rhodes will be starting a club "Dancers In Training" At AYJS. Each week children will do a dance warm up and professional strength and conditioning exercises. They will learn choreography culminating in a final routine.
Henry Rhodes is a professionally trained ballet dancer and trained with Elmhurst Ballet School in association with The Birmingham Royal Ballet and Northern Ballet. Most recently Henry performed with English National Ballet in The Royal Albert Hall. He has a passion for sharing the joy and benefits of dance and has worked on a number of projects with schools, including AYJS and Manor CE Academy in York as well as for Northern Ballet with multiple primary schools in Leeds. His recent AYJS project with year 6 students was featured on BBC Look North.
